A Snowy Day in Mobile, AL 2025
A Snowy Day in Mobile, AL 2025

When I woke up on Tuesday morning, January 21, 2025, around 6:00 a.m.,

I didn't see the snow at first, but when I went outside around 9:10 a.m., I saw some snow on the ground. I bundled up in a big black puffer coat, a black scarf, and put on my shoes. I began to walk outside in the fresh powdery snow with my family and we had a snowball fight.

We were laughing so hard and snowballs were flying in all directions. It's the kind of day where the cold didn't even matter because we were too busy having fun. This was a fun and happy day for my family and me!

On a rare occasion in Mobile, Alabama, I  experienced a snowfall that transformed the landscape into a winter wonderland. As a person who has lived in Mobile, Alabama all my life, I witnessed this phenomenon. It felt

thrilling to engage in playful snowball fights and construct beautiful snow angels. This snowy day provided a break from our daily school routine. In conclusion, this snowy day served as a reminder of God's great and unpredictable nature to bring people together in a joyous celebration.

    Isaiah 55:10-11 (NLT)

“The rain and snow came down from the heavens and stayed on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit.

Christmas to me is a time to show God’s love.

It’s a time for healing and renewing strength.

Also, Christmas is God’s ultimate gift, the birth of Jesus Christ.

It is an opportunity to pause and give thanks for the love, joy, and hope found in

Jesus Christ, our Savior. Lastly, we must remember to rejoice as well. Christmas is a wonderful time of year that we all should be thankful for.
