When I woke up on January 21, 2024, I immediately realized that it was extremely cold in my room, because neither the heater nor the air conditioning unit was on, so I decided to make some hot cocoa in the kitchen. However, on my way there, I looked out of the window and noticed that there were small, tiny, and delicate little snowflakes falling slowly to the ground. I just said in my head, simply “woah.” I have never seen as much snow like this in my 14 years living in Mobile, Alabama
. This was a once in a lifetime experience. I decided to go outside and play in the snow. My cousins, Weldon and Christian, arrived later that day to build a snowman and do other fun activities with the snow. We built snowmen, made snow angels, and even threw snowballs at each other. Some of the snowballs hurt a little, and some did not. It was just a good time.
When we were done, we headed back inside the house and reviewed the snow catastrophes that we had recorded. As it continued to snow outside, Weldon, Christian, and the rest of my cousins played video games, laughed, talked, made jokes, and even played some board games. To put it simply, it was an awesome and one in a million fun day.
